  11. SP=8>One suggestion on one computer and a lot of students.  We
  12. SP=8>can upload an ASCII file and attach it to a message.  That
  13. SP=8>way a class of students can communicate with a basic word
  14. SP=8>processor that saves in ASCII format then you can upload
  15. SP=8>the messages.  That way very little on line time is used.

  18. SP=8>students ages 11 -14.  I agree that vague pen-pal messages
  19. SP=8>are a bit weak.  Our age students love surveys.  Hope this
  20. Suzy, thanks f0r your suggestions. I am spending part our long vacation
  21. over Christmas getting to know how things work and have just found how
  22. to operate off-line loading. I can see that this would be the best way
  23. to get groups of students using the bb once they have had a spot of
  24. actual on-line experience. I find its much better myself and can see why
  25. you recommend doing it this way. I have time to think too without the
  26. phone interrupting me. At home we don't pay per call but at school we
  27. are charged for each call. Will let you know how I get on during Feb.
  28. Any other suggestions would be gratefully received. I took of the work
  29. sheets I found recently and will adapt those I think to get people
