  20.      The normal shortage of school phone lines creates a problem for
  21.      alota teachers and students using the facilities of K12Net. We are
  22.      the HUB for two school districts here in Central Ohio, and the way
  23.      they chose to solve that problem was to create a BBS on the school
  24.      network and exchange messages as a node into FidoNet and K12Net.
  25.      Of course, this made work for the school MIS coordinator<g>. But it
  26.      can be done as a class project.

  28.      Using this method creates no need for a seperate phone line, and
  29.      mail transfers can occur using existing phone lines after normal
  30.      school hours.
