  19.      You did not say how much RAM you had or the speed of your modem. If
  20.      you do not have between 4 and 8 meg of Ram, I would suggest
  21.      additional RAM for the 386. If you do not have a high speed modem I
  22.      would get one that has FAX capabilities. Also, a Lazer printer
  23.      with additional RAM up to at least 1 meg. It would also be nice to
  24.      have a page sized scanner and at least 2 more serial ports on the
  25.      386. Make sure you have a 14450 chip for the hi speed modem
  26.      connections. It's either on the Mother board or the modem board.
  27.      You said notheing about a backup sustem. If none, then invest in a
  28.      Tape backup and use it!

  30.      With what is left, you could buy a Clone as a duplicate sustem if
  31.      you have the need for it. Also, you can expect that your color
  32.      monitor will need replaced in 24 months or so.
