I am working with six year old students with autism and am interested in talking with other teachers who have similar students. I am especially interested in your ideas about ways to deal with behaviors such as spitting on and tearing small holes in books. One of my students really seems to enjoy books and I don't want to discourage this, but these behaviors are rapidly destroying the classroom library. Mary E. Peterson
