I don't know abou t girls not being involved in D+D. There are 3 in my campaign, and there Are only 5 people! Oh well. My DM is  male, so we still run into scantily clad warrior women.... I'll admit it's interesting! Hey.... that's how my character entered.... goes to show what's on our DM's mind.
