  26. There is a tradoff between:  How many AIX 3.1 systems are there out there;
  27. does the current version *work* under AIX 3.2; do your proposed
  28. changes *work* under AIX 3.1?  It is of course possible to support
  29. two separate configurations, but we're currently not set up to do that.
