  25. I did the following when i wanted to print the popup menus screen.
  26. I have openwin 2.0 , which has a snapshot program. (this should be availble
  27. on other platforms also.. i am not sure). Snapshot allows you to
  28. set a timer .. it takes the snap of the specified window/region after
  29. that many seconds.
  30. So what i did was, opened a window and fitted my program display into that 
  31. window such that only top bar of that window is seen. Then i started snapshot
  32. with time =16 secs and selected that window. Then i selected the button which 
  33. created the pop_menu. After 16 secs the snap was taken, and lo.. here you
  34. have the pop-menu in a snapshot.
  35. Nxt step was simply viewing that snapshot and grabbing it through xwd.
  36. [ Using simple xwd will also give you the top bar of the window.. i used
  37. xdump (from Uni. of Wisconsin.. ftp.cs.uwm.edu:/soft-eng). It allows
  38. to cut a region and print.
