- Oh yes, I do realize the implications of changing the functionality of
- button 2, but for the application we sell, we had to decide, who's to be
- king-our many years old style that our customers are used to, or the new
- Motif style guide.
- Anyway, our application is more in the VAR realm, so customers buy
- machines just to run our package. In that case, it is much better to
- allow a non-standard style to be used (since interaction with other
- applications is nil), than to have two conflicting standards imposed on
- users.

- For new customers, we do intend to follow the Motif style guide (and learn
- to co-exist with other applications---which brings up the issue of
- colormaps---but that is another story!)
