  13. I have a SUN SPARCstation IPC running the latest version of openwindows. This
  14. latest version has caused me unusual grief. Most of my applications are running
  15. remote decwindows and displaying back to the sun. Periodically, at no set 
  16. interval, everything but the mouse pointer freezes. ie I can't pull down any
  17. menus, open or close windows, enter any commands etc. What I can do is move
  18. the pointer around and in fact, as the pointer is moved over a corner of any 
  19. window, it indeed turns into a concentric-circle icon (yet I can't resize 
  20. anything with the buttons frozen).  As my console window is not always visible,
  21. I'm not sure if the following symptom always occurs however I've often noticed
  22. a console message saying something to the affect "olwm  ... an incorrect 
  23. bitmap..."   Any suggestions would really be appreciated as SUN's service
  24. line is about as useful as a wet match.
