- Hello,
-
- Im currently trying to brain-damage a XmText Widget. Ok,
- here is what i want it to do...
-
- Imagine a password requester. All I want to happen is when I type
- into the text field, instead of putting the characters there, I want
- asterixes ("****" to appear. Has anyone done this? I have tried a
- few way, but it looks like it may have to be a major hack. Things
- I have tried:
-
- Everytime a key is pressed (XmNmodifyValueCallback) i call the action-procedure
- "delete-previous-character", to delete the character and then I
- do a XmTextInsert to insert the *. This core dumps seriously.
- I don't know why, so if anyone has any ideas, PLEASE let me know...
- Thanks!
-
- peace out.
