  14. Is there a way with a scrolled list to prevent the vertical or the
  15. horizontal scrollbar from appearing while having the other one always
  16. appear?  In particular, I wish to have the horizontal scrollbar always
  17. present, but wish to handle the vertical scrolling myself (linking several
  18. lists together on a single scroll bar).  I cannot find any way to do this
  19. and would prefer to do it within the scrolled_window widget rather than
  20. having to manage the horizontal scrollbars myself as I have to with the
  21. vertical scrollbars.
