- I've used both a NEC CDR-80 and a CD Technology (Tosh 3???) on an
- Adaptec 1542a under SCO ODT. No problem mounting the CD as a Unix
- file system. There are some undocumented mount flags that may
- make life easier:
-
- umount /dev/cd0
- /etc/mount -r -fHS,lower,intr,soft,novers /dev/cd0 /cd
- echo "CD-ROM mounted on /cd"
- ls -l /cd
-
- This works fairly well for DOS-Merge, and some DOS apps will run
- that way. Other DOS apps require a more intimate relationship
- with the CD than this combination provides.
-
- VP/IX 1.02 does not work properly with the CD.
