  22. I've used both a NEC CDR-80 and a CD Technology (Tosh 3???) on an
  23. Adaptec 1542a under SCO ODT.  No problem mounting the CD as a Unix
  24. file system.  There are some undocumented mount flags that may
  25. make life easier:

  27.     umount /dev/cd0
  28.     /etc/mount -r -fHS,lower,intr,soft,novers /dev/cd0 /cd
  29.     echo "CD-ROM mounted on /cd"
  30.     ls -l /cd
  31.  
  32. This works fairly well for DOS-Merge, and some DOS apps will run
  33. that way.  Other DOS apps require a more intimate relationship
  34. with the CD than this combination provides.
  35.  
  36. VP/IX 1.02 does not work properly with the CD.
