  30. I've run across a similar problem using TeX on Apollo workstations, using the
  31. dvihp program supplied by the vendor (ArborText).  The letter 'i' is omitted,
  32. only the lowercase, but bold or italic 'i' gets printed.  I've also had trouble
  33. printing bitmaps in general on Series II LaserJets, even those with about 2 Mb
  34. of RAM.  I can reproduce this bad behavior on several different Series II
  35. machines, especially the missing 'i' from a downloaded font.  I can show the
  36. problem to be independent of the print server by using "cat"; other than that,
  37. I'm stumped, too.  Could it be some sort of tragic flaw in PCL, or perhaps the
  38. ROMs in HP Series II LaserJets?
