- I used to have a Z248, and found the special features of its BIOS very
- nice. (I didn't have multiple OSs, but it was handy to turn off the
- "try to boot from the floppy" feature that standard BIOSes force on
- us.) But Zenith's many "improvements" can be a serious problem.
- For example, a Zenith replacement power supply costs $250 (vs. $50 for
- an IBM clone)! My experience with this sort of problem made me
- permanently wary of Zenith computer products.
