- While trying to install 386bsd on a new drive from an existing
- installation, the files above wouldn't copy over using the well known
- Rex Sanders cpdir tar pipe shell script or the cp command. Inspecting
- these files showed that they are actually "socket links." I confess
- that I am completely ignorant about socket links, how do I re-create
- these directory entries? What will break if they aren't there?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Glen Foster
