- Mr. Shieh is referring to private email I sent him. I wasn't going to
- carp in public, but if he's gonna drag my name into it, albeit
- mispelled ...
-
- I didn't buy a 525 "on the open market." I didn't want a 525 AT ALL.
- I ordered a 7011 expecting another plain vanilla 150MB, and I ordered
- it through the same local sales office that I order AIX software from.
- I consider it completely out to lunch that IBM would deliver this
- puppy to me without full software support without even asking me, and
- then reject the DCR. A split into divisions is no excuse whatever for
- this sort of thing. Its as bad as the monochrome 220 that showed up.
- Guess what? AIX didn't support that either, and I had to pay for
- additional VRAM to get it work.
-
- I appreciate the PFT, I've ordered it up.
