- Is there a way to redefine the underscore character so that the manuscript
- will not be proliferated by these ugly-looking \discretionary control
- sequences, while achieving the same effect?
-
- path.sty does this so you can say \path|karl@cs.umb.edu| and get
- optional breaks at the `@' and the `.' (and any other punctuation
- character except |). You can get path.sty from
- math.utah.edu:pub/tex/bib (I think); it's also part of Eplain
- (ftp.cs.umb.edu:pub/tex/eplain.tar.Z).
