- Three years ago I bought the small OCS (Occam Compiler Set) from INMOS.
- (BTW: Does it still exist?) This was a rather cheap tool for me to get
- into the wonderful world of transputers.
- Since this time I've never heard anything from eMedia (who sold them),
- no update, nothing!
-
- I just tested the versions:
- - AFSERVER: V1.3 (10-14-1987)
- - OCCAM2 stand alone compiler: V0.88 (3-25-1987)
- - LINKT stand alone library linker: V1.4 (12-8-1987)
-
- This version is so old, it won't even accept the binaries produced by
- the 3L-C compiler of my friend!
-
- The OCS is only the compiler/linker without IDE or something like that!
-
- Does anyone of you (perhaps one of the INMOS folks) know about the
- version/existence of the OCS or an update? I tried to contact someone at
- INMOS, but haven't got any response yet.
-
- Please be so kind and don't support only the people with >128
- transputers but even the small ones!
-
- Thank you very much,
