  23. But the diags WILL detect an improperly-seated SIMM module, which is the extent
  24. of problems I've ever found with SIMMs.

  26. One of the funniest (depending on point of view :-) problems with SIMMs I've
  27. seen happened to a colleague who pushed his SIMMs in without checking if the
  28. sockets were clean ... so he inadvertently squished a spider ("bug" :-) into
  29. the socket.  Yucky-poo.
