  13. To be honest, I like Xerox Imaging Systems' ScanWorX, but the
  14. price tag of $14,000 is still a bit too expensive (I heard $8,000
  15. for the software alone).
  16. And the apparent alternative seems to be Aurora's OCR which I heard
  17. over the telephone uses Carrera's engine. Has anyone heard or experienced
  18. any OCR based on that engine? I heard it is widely used on PC and Mac
  19. platforms. Any info about its accuracy is appreciated.
