  15.     Hello everyone,

  17.     My optical mouse and I are not getting along well.  I would like to
  18. get a replacement mouse (one with "mechanical" guts, like those on DECs
  19. or Macs) that (1) isn't confined to a 7"x7.5" square of my desk, (2) doesn't
  20. drag when moved (and I -do- keep my pad clean), and (3) moves the cursor
  21. in relation to the motion of the mouse w.r.t. -me- and not w.r.t. that shiny
  22. pad (its orientation is a random variable that depends on how much the mouse
  23. drags on it, etc., etc.).

  25.     Since I'm new to the Sun world I'm not sure who the third party
  26. suppliers are, and I would appreciate any netter's comments on what
  27. mouses (mice?) are available and who the suppliers are.
