  16. My previous question was not the right one to ask.

  18. We have four SPARC10's that we are going to set up as file servers.
  19. They come with one SCSI port, and we have added another via an SBUS
  20. card. We also have up to 9 devices per machine, i.e. CD/ROM, external
  21. disks, tape drives.

  23. How do we attach them all. I was told that Sun has an addressing scheme
  24. that allows up to 15 devices per SCSI port. Do we daisy chain them all
  25. off one port? Do we split them up between the two ports, i.e. 4 on one
  26. and 5 on the other? Does one of the SCSI ports take precedence over the
  27. other?
