- We use it also for passwd management and other important files on our
- systems. It is okay as long as you are not trying to do this with too
- many installations. Since we have two, it is ideal for us. Another part
- of the University uses NIS to manage over 20 Sun Workstations.

- BTW, if the lastest version hasn't fixed the security hole in rdist (our
- version had one), you can get the patch from ftp.uu.net.
