  13. we have an Sun Server 4/490 with SunOS 4.1.1 and a
  14. ISP-80 Disk Controller.
  15. After installation of the Fujitsu M2652P Disk we get the folowing 
  16. error message during boot :

  18.    idc0: ctlr message: 'FW revision date = 8/28/90 , level = 254 '
  19.    idc0: ctlr message: 'Warning:  drive 1 may require formatting '
  20.    .

  22.    id001: read: Uncorrectable Data Check. 
  23.    id001 at idc0 facility 1

  25. If we try format the disk, the format command dosen't see the disk !

  27. We tryed the same on a SunServer 690MP with SunOS 1.1.3 with the same
  28. result.

  30. Has anyone any ideeas how to solve this problem?
