- Having some specific needs for an automatic remote control
- I have just installed myRemote on my HP95 and it works very well.
- So far I have tested on 3 different VCRs, 2 satellite receivers,
- a pioneer multi-cassette tape deck and a remote control AV switch.
- All work perfectly.
-
- Now my problem. What I would like to do is to be able to program
- a sequence of events at different times on different days and have
- it run the myRemote program. (It does have a built in timer but
- only up to 24 hours from the time you launch a command). Ideally
- the apointment book would wake up the 95 at the right time and
- call a .bat file to run myRemote which is a DOS compliant program
- only.
-
- I have tried several vanilla DOS scheduling programs some work and
- some don't. Those that work only do so if the 95 is awake at the
- time of the event.
-
- As far as I can see there is no built in feature to do this - has
- anyone got any suggestions?
-
- Thanks - Mike
