- That was my evil twin in a former life. I'm reformed now, really.

- (yawn) That's a tired strawman you're presenting, Jim. I welcome
- a hearty discussion of conflicting opinions, however, in this case,
- most of the folks posting were interested in the biz.next.marketplace
- group idea, and were not flaming as accused by yourself and Lucas.
-
- As for Dave Griffths statements:

-
- We can't ignore the USENET usage guidelines because you
- don't feel like reading two groups instead of one. There
- are real potential consequences for abuse of these
- groups, which happily have been historically avoided
- because most people, when properly informed of
- guidelines and the reasoning behind them, act like good
- USENET citizens. As we all should, wouldn't you agree?
-
- I see no reason why the commercial group would have to be an
- RTF group, although it would no doubt break Glen and
- Jack's hearts if it wasn't ;-)
