  26. it's hard to decide where to start shoveling through it.

  28. Let's start with your ignorance of the transport
  29. mechanisms of USENET, and how commercial postings could
  30. cause groups such as this one to be dropped from some of
  31. them.  It's not a question of whether Sam's post offended
  32. the sensibilities of the people discussing (not
  33. flaming, BTW, can't you tell the difference?), but of
  34. avoiding such potentially disruptive actions by some
  35. USENET carriers.  Think about it: do companies that pay
  36. real money want to carry other companies advertisements?

  38. Next, would you care to support your rather inflamitory
  39. statement about the fate of NeXTstep as you see it, or are
  40. you just shouting that the sky is falling because it's
  41. the time of year for such drivel to be proclaimed in
  42. these groups?

  44. Next, there has been almost universal agreement from the
  45. posters discussing this issue, including Sam, that the
  46. biz.next.* groups would be the appropriate group for
  47. such postings.

  49. When it comes down to it, most folks here have been having a
  50. good discussion about this issue, and exchanging
  51. information and ideas in the true sense of the ideal of
  52. USENET...except for your and one other poster's
  53. interruptions accusing us of flaming and wasting our time
  54. because you don't agree with the direction the
  55. discussion is taking.  We're doing just fine, thanks, so
  56. please go flame in some other group that will appreciate
  57. your silliness.
