-
- There's so much misinformation in the above paragraph
- it's hard to decide where to start shoveling through it.
-
- Let's start with your ignorance of the transport
- mechanisms of USENET, and how commercial postings could
- cause groups such as this one to be dropped from some of
- them. It's not a question of whether Sam's post offended
- the sensibilities of the people discussing (not
- flaming, BTW, can't you tell the difference?), but of
- avoiding such potentially disruptive actions by some
- USENET carriers. Think about it: do companies that pay
- real money want to carry other companies advertisements?
-
- Next, would you care to support your rather inflamitory
- statement about the fate of NeXTstep as you see it, or are
- you just shouting that the sky is falling because it's
- the time of year for such drivel to be proclaimed in
- these groups?
-
- Next, there has been almost universal agreement from the
- posters discussing this issue, including Sam, that the
- biz.next.* groups would be the appropriate group for
- such postings.
-
- When it comes down to it, most folks here have been having a
- good discussion about this issue, and exchanging
- information and ideas in the true sense of the ideal of
- USENET...except for your and one other poster's
- interruptions accusing us of flaming and wasting our time
- because you don't agree with the direction the
- discussion is taking. We're doing just fine, thanks, so
- please go flame in some other group that will appreciate
- your silliness.
-

- Very funny.
