- I've placed a beta version of PixelTime on two NeXt ftp archives. It
- is a utility which allows you to set your system time and date by
- calling the National Bureau of Standards atomic clock via a Hayes
- compatible modem. It is well known how badly the NeXT's clock drifts
- and for stand alone machines which share development or other time
- critical files, accurate time stamping is crucial. Besides, it's
- always nice to
-
- know you have the correct time and date. You can get this version of
- PixelTime by ftp on sonata.cc.purdue.edu or cs.orst.edu in the
- /pub/bin/submissions directory. At some point it will migrate to the
- /pub/next/demos or /pub/next/binaries directory. Please kick it around
- and let me know what you think. This version will expire January 1,
- 1993 and there's now way to avoid it by setting your clock back! I
- forgot to give my hearty thanks to Eric Celeste for his vabluable
- interface suggestions and for a suggestion for the application icon.
- Please send any comments or suggestions to dnp@math.mit.edu
-
-
- Enjoy!
