  28. I fear in some ways this has already happened.  I recall
  29. the reaction of some well-placed NeXT officials to my
  30. lobbying for NeXT to adopt a new OD standard to replace the
  31. unceremoniously jettisoned Canon ESDI OD was something
  32. akin to "once burned, twice shy".
