- I fear in some ways this has already happened. I recall
- the reaction of some well-placed NeXT officials to my
- lobbying for NeXT to adopt a new OD standard to replace the
- unceremoniously jettisoned Canon ESDI OD was something
- akin to "once burned, twice shy".
