- In this realm of virtual software, I'd have to say that NS486 which is
- after all just a port of NS, is somewhat less vapor than NT. NT is
- completely unproven. NS486 (aka NS) will have at least some mileage behind
- it when it is announced. There are parts of NS486 (low level drivers and
- the like) that will be pretty new, but the core will not be completely new
- because of Mach. NT whenever it hits the market will still be very raw and
- at every layer, with the possible exception of its Window interface.
