  23. Ah, but there is more to it than that. There's some circuitry that
  24. goes with it that allows the mac to turn sound into something the
  25. computer can deal with.

  27. One thing that you *can* do is get a CEDAR Digitizer Kit and put one
  28. together yourself ($45), which is a *lot* cheaper than a MacRecorder
  29. and works just as well (and works just like a MacRecorder). But then
  30. you'd have to get the software for it (most of which you can get on
  31. the 'net). However, I had problems with my CEDAR Digitizer and had to
  32. send it back twice (turned out to be loose connections). However, I
  33. had to wait three months and he guy told me that CEDAR was having some
  34. problems and he may close CEDAR (but I got another kit in
  35. retribution). The information on the CEDAR should be available from
  36. sumex.
