  12. I am experiencing a problem emptying the Trash when file sharing is
  13. turned on.

  15. Files can be placed in the trash ok, but any attempt to
  16. empty the Trash causes the machine to hang. ie: a watch cursor appears
  17. and time stands still. The only solution seems to be to push RESET (I
  18. can't bring myself to call it a Programmer's Switch!). :->

  20. I'm using System 7.0.1 and have tried a number of different network
  21. configurations, different Mac types and so on. I've also tried
  22. re-installing the system from new just-out-of-the-box disks but all to
  23. no avail. Is there something obviously wrong that I'm just too stupid
  24. to see?
