- Yes and no.
-
- To do what you say, you need the following:
- 1. System 7.1 (any country, including US)
- 2. WorldScript I extension (not yet available from Apple)
- 3. Hebrew Script System and fonts (not yet available from Apple)
- 4. A Script Manager compatible word processor, which MS-Word is NOT.
-
- (By the way, replace items 2 and/or 3 with WorldScript II and other script
- systems, and the same requirements apply for any Apple-supported script,
- and you can have multiple installed at once, including both WorldScript I
- and II)
-
- My guess is that everything on the list will be available soon, except that
- I don't think MS Word will be Script Manager compatible for a long, long
- time, if ever. Most of the popular word processors are not, currently.
-
- I've heard things to the effect that WordPerfect 2.1.2 and the latest
- version of the Nisus support the script manager, but I don't know for sure.
