- I had a strange error at startup. I had my system freeze up, then when I
- started up, the finder couldn't load my startup-disk, so finder kept on
- resarting itself. I tried the disk tools disk, and it booted, and loaded the
- disk, three windows would appear, then the finder would just cycle through
- them. I couldn't get the the finder to start up the disk first aid.
- I rebuilt the desktop, and this didn't solve the problem. I reinstalled
- the system, and that fixed it. Disk first aid said that the disk needed
- opps did not need fixing.
- Any ideas on what the problem was?
- System 7.1, Mac IIci, 32-bit enabled, various inits.
