  20. There's an extension called badinit.hqx at sumex-aim.stanford.edu in the
  21. directory /info-mac/ex. Install it and just select 'Erase Disk...' from
  22. the finder. Then a dialogue box with three bottons 'Init,' 'Check,' and
  23. 'Cancel' shows up. Clicking on 'Check' will mark the bad blocks as used.
  24. This works pretty well on my PB170 running localized 7.0.1*.
