- I'm using System 7.01 with Tuneup on a IIsi with the usual slew of
- inits, etc., including Autodoubler in the most recent version. The hard drive
- is divided into three partitions with Silverlining 5.28.
-
- I've been using Disk First Aid 7.1, and have discovered that most of
- the time it tells me that the startup volume needs repair; it repairs the
- volume and says everything's fine, but if I do the same thing a few startups
- and shutdowns later, it needs repair again.
-
- A few questions:
-
- first, what is *wrong* that is being repaired?
-
- second, why does it keep happening, and is there any way I can
- find out how to stop it?
-
- Thanks,
-
