  10. On a slightly saner note than my previous post, is there a way to get a
  11. greyscale picture as a StartupScreen? I have a 24-bit JPEG image, which I
  12. converted to an 8-bit greyscale PICT resource (I have a IIsi with greyscale
  13. monitor). Upon restarting, the picture is displayed, but it appears slightly
  14. dithered (as if color is translated to greyscale), and when the INITs and
  15. cdevs start loading, the pallette gets screwed up. Is there a way of getting
  16. the picture displayed properly?
