- I have had a problem like you described. I saw it with 7.0. and 7.0.1
- also. I corrected it by turning file sharing off when doing large Z-Modem
- transfers. Using Xon-Xoff and not hardware handshaking allowed the
- transfers to complete, even with nasty amounts of errors.

- It seemed that during file transfers at almost any baud rate (up to 38.4)
- I would get disconnected at different points in the transfer. Another
- thing that seemd to cause things to stop was the size and number of
- windows open. Apparantly the window manager uses a lot of system time
- occationally.

- Hardware Mac IIfx, 32 meg, Mac IIx with 33mhz acc, the most trouble was
- with a straight Mac IIx. Internal speed has an effect, especially at
- higher baud rates.
