- Hello netters,
-
- I just upgraded my pb100 to 8 megs of ram, and I was hoping that
- in that transformation, I could stop access to the hard drive
- for the most part by loading system and some applications on a ram
- disk. the problem is that when word starts up, it accesses the hard
- drive, even when it has been unmounted by draging the icon of the drive
- to the trash. It isn't looking for a prefs file, because the active
- system is on the ramdisk. And it isn't just microsoft, because the
- same thing happend with BBEdit. Any Ideas, Suggestions, or Guesses would
- be appriciated.
-
- important information...
- sys 7.1
- 8 megs mem.
- 4 meg ramdisk
- pb100
-
- Thanks, Eric Soroos
