- The 6.0.x to 7.1 upgrade is for people who were not already running system
- 7. If you were already running system 7, then you should have bought the
- cheaper upgrade. If you were not running system 7, then Apple expects you
- to buy the 6.0.x to 7.1 upgrade.

- Both packages can do clean installs. I've done clean installs with the
- cheaper upgrade package, because I *always* do clean installs (it gives me a
- chance to weed out the clutter in my system folder). Besides, in this case
- I wanted to sort out my fonts (once again, hopefully for the last time!).
