- Is it possible for two Macs to share a Personal Laserwriter LS?
- The two Macs will be networked using AppleTalk. The two
- solutions given by the local Apple Centre were:
-
- 1/. Buy two printer cables and interchange them.
-
- 2/. Copy the files to the connected printer and print them
- manually from there.
-
- Neither of these solutions are acceptable. Does anyone have a
- better solution? Is there a way to set up a folder on the connected
- Mac such that any file dropped in this folder is automatically printed.
- Better still, an application resident on the foreign Mac,
- such that any file dropped on the application icon is dumped to the
- printer.
