- Hi folks, is there a way to differentiate harddisk of similar volume name?
- I sometime need to access datas over an AppleTalk network but because of
- the common HardDisk name such as "Macintosh HD", I always get error in
- reading data into HyperCard using these remote volume. The way I overcome
- this problem is to change my locate volume name to something else but this
- is not the ideal solution as when others access data on my locate
- harddisk, they will need to alter their script to suit it. One other way
- that could have solve this problem is to use XFCN GetDir() but this is
- not ideal because many of my network user are not familiar with the dialog
- box interface. As such, I need to find a way to uniquely identify volume
- of similar name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in
- advance.
