  11. Hi folks, is there a way to differentiate harddisk of similar volume name?
  12. I sometime need to access datas over an AppleTalk network but because of
  13. the common HardDisk name such as "Macintosh HD", I always get error in
  14. reading data into HyperCard using these remote volume. The way I overcome
  15. this problem is to change my locate volume name to something else but this
  16. is not the ideal solution as when others access data on my locate
  17. harddisk, they will need to alter their script to suit it. One other way
  18. that could have solve this problem is to use XFCN GetDir() but this is
  19. not ideal because many of my network user are not familiar with the dialog
  20. box interface. As such, I need to find a way to uniquely identify volume
  21. of similar name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in
