- The manual for the Radius 24xp lists timing specs for the board as configured
- for a variety of monitors. Here's some excerpts from that list:
-
- Monitor H x V H scanrate V scanrate pixel clk
- ------- ----- ---------- ---------- ---------
-
- Apple 16" mode 832x624 49.73 KHz 75 Hz 57.283 MHz
- SVGA mode (72 Hz mode) 800x600 48.00 72 48.000
-
- Apple Hi-Res RGB mode 640x480 35.00 67 30.240
- VGA mode 640x480 31.50 60 25.175
-
- I believe these are the modes available for generic multisync monitors. I am
- using the Apple 16" mode with my SuperMac 17" tube. The modes can be configured
- in at least two ways. At start up you can force the video card to enter a
- test mode, where it slowly switches from one display configuration to the next,
- and you can wait for the correct screen appearance, and hit a key to lock in
- that configuration. You can also access the configuration options in the
- Monitors control panel, by hitting the "Options" button with the option key
- held down. It is possible to switch configurations on the fly (without
- rebooting) if I remember correctly.
