  16. Previous versions of the HP software increased the finder's memory partition to
  17. make room for it's spolling stuff. I've noticed that the installer didn't
  18. modify my finder under v 7.1 of the macos. I had to get in with resedit myself
  19. and tweak it, and i had no more of the problems you describe.
