- Does anyone have any experience repairing CD Rom drives?
- I have an older drive that was decommissioned.
- It is a Hitachi CDR-1503S. (June 1989). The University
- Library dumps these machines when they break because
- it is more expensive to fix them than to repair them.
-
- Am I wasting my time getting into a repair session with
- one of these dinosaurs?
