  10. Does anyone have any experience repairing CD Rom drives?
  11. I have an older drive that was decommissioned.
  12. It is a Hitachi CDR-1503S. (June 1989). The University
  13. Library dumps these machines when they break because
  14. it is more expensive to fix them than to repair them.
  15.  
  16. Am I wasting my time getting into a repair session with
  17. one of these dinosaurs?
