- Actually, it is quite easy to set up an internal as an external. Once you have
- purchased the case for it (hopefully with a power supplly), you will need a
- set of internal to external SCSI cables (prices vary), and probably an
- external terminator (although the last drive I converted works fine without
- it). Once you drive is out of the 'puter,look for the jumper pins that
- control the SCSI ID (usually two rows of seven or eight pins). Internal
- drives are usually set to zero, so you will need to get a hold of a jumper and
- put it onto a couple of the pins (one from each row of seven). This will set
- your id. Do not forget to check the power cable from the power source to you
- drive, for if they look different, you will need to purchase an adaptor
- (verycheap, common) I hope this helps, I am no guru, but I have done this a
- few times...
