  34. He's not the only one who CompUSA mislead:  I ordered a IIVX w/CD-ROM, 8MG add'l 
  35. RAM, PSI COMstation 5, and NEC Silentwriter 95 and an add'l two MB of RAM for the 
  36. printer.  The CPU I picked up on 12/10, and a 2 weeks later got the printer.  Here's 
  37. the bad news:  The CPU was a 4/80 w/the add'l 8MB RAM and no CD, the printer 
  38. memory was backordered and the modem was out of stock and had to be backordered.  
  39. After being told by their corporate peeps that the modem was in the store 4 seperate 
  40. times, they finally learned how to get it half right (their accounting folks put a 
  41. payment hold on it although I had prepaid!).  I still haven't received the printer RAM 
  42. nor a VX w/the 300CD to replace the one they temporarily let me have.  Projections 
  43. on delivery: After the first week of January.  All this after the account rep said that 
  44. getting that configuration was no problem, they had it in stock.
