  10. Well, if that's all it is, I can replace it myself.  No warranty left
  11. to void on this IIx....  I suppose it's a Lithium cell.  Can anyone
  12. tell me for sure the type and voltage of the battery?

  14. There are two of them, side by side.  They are lithium and I
  15. believe the voltage is 3.6.  They can be had from any reputable
  16. electronics supply house.  They usually come with 2" pre-tinned
  17. leads on either end, which can be soldered into the board or
  18. snipped off - see next para.

  20. They are not necessarily soldered onto the board.  In some of
  21. the late issue IIx logic boards, they are in little plastic
  22. battery boxes.  Look and your board and see what your configuration
  23. is.
