  12. Does anyone have experience using a Powerbook on an Ethernet network?
  13. I vaguely remember that a couple of years ago I read here several posts filled
  14. with hate and disgust over the external boxes that attempted to let you use
  15. Ethernet via a Mac's SCSI port.  These boxes were originally intended for the
  16. Mac Plus machines which didn't have any kind of internal slot.  I see the 
  17. boxes are still around (presumably around revision 3.01 of driver software by
  18. now).  Has anyone actually used a Powerbook on an Ethernet network?  What
  19. kind of hardware was required, and what was your performance like?  Any
  20. severe driver problems or incompatibility with anything?
