- Does anyone have experience using a Powerbook on an Ethernet network?
- I vaguely remember that a couple of years ago I read here several posts filled
- with hate and disgust over the external boxes that attempted to let you use
- Ethernet via a Mac's SCSI port. These boxes were originally intended for the
- Mac Plus machines which didn't have any kind of internal slot. I see the
- boxes are still around (presumably around revision 3.01 of driver software by
- now). Has anyone actually used a Powerbook on an Ethernet network? What
- kind of hardware was required, and what was your performance like? Any
- severe driver problems or incompatibility with anything?
-
- Thanks,
-
