  13.     I just received my PB 180 4/120 last week, before Christmas. This is
  14. a wonderful machine !

  16.     I plan to order a Global Village PowerPort Gold for my PowerBook, but
  17. I'd like to hear comments concerning compatibility. What worries me is not
  18. the old question of Bell / CCITT standards, but such things as tax
  19. pulses filtering (the pulses here in Switzerland are sent at a lower fre-
  20. quency than in the States, about 12KHz I think ). I heard some V42bis modems
  21. were disturbed by those bursts. Is there anyone out there that has tried
  22. this (specifically the PowerPort Gold or Silver) and can report ?
